Our Story:
Working off a small dock in the old produce market in Los Angeles, Dennis and Ilene Berman founded Bandwagon Brokerage, Inc. in 1988.
Both came from hard-working families in the food, produce and consumer goods industries. Dennis was a seasoned sales professional and previously worked at other wholesale and retail companies. During that time, he developed a loyal and committed customer base who were thrilled to support and help build Bandwagon. Ilene had been employed in the garment industry for several years and ran operations in the mortgage business prior to joining Dennis to open Bandwagon's doors.
Bandwagon has grown and evolved since then: from a small dock, to a warehouse in Downtown LA, and now driven by a full team of produce professionals in a 17,000 square foot facility equipped with 5 separate temperature-controlled environment, a refrigerated repack room, and rigorous health safety processes in Vernon, California, just blocks from the LA produce market.
Our commitment to personalized customer service and uncompromising integrity remains strong as ever. Our very first customers all those years ago are still our customers today.
